C. Armed Force Headquarter Civil Service, Group B (Selection officer's Grade)
Armed Forces Headquarters Civilian Staff is a group B service. The Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) Headquarters and other inter-service bodies under the defence ministry have civilian staff who are responsible for administration. Such staffs are chosen from the civil service exams held by the UPSC.
· They are responsible for day to day management of the Headquarters of Army, Navy and Air force.
· They are also responsible to take care of the shifting of the headquarters and the functioning of it.
